Jednotlivé modely řady GRAPHIC SUTNAR jsou pojmenovány podle souboru návrhů hraček, které Ladislav Sutnar vytvořil pro výstavu v Uměleckoprůmyslovém muzeu v Praze v r. 1930. Jeho avantgardní pojetí exotických zvířátek na kolečkách vyvolalo velký ohlas mezi poučenou veřejností, ale u výrobců hraček návrhy zájem nevzbudily. Zvířátka se tak dochovala pouze v podobě prototypů představených na výstavě. Abychom poctili tento Sutnarův odvážný a originální počin, rozhodli jsme se jeden z modelů pojmenovaných podle hraček nabídnout jako limitovanou edici dvanácti kusů. Volba padla na lvíčka – český národní symbol. Hnědý reliéfní číselník s efektem slunce je doplněn oranžovou sekundovou ručkou, na jejímž konci je silueta hřívy inspirovaná Sutnarovou hračkou.

Nerezové pouzdro této limitované edice je v dvoubarevném provedení díky kombinaci tryskaného povrchu a povrchové úpravy vybraných částí technologií PVD. Hodinky jsou dodávány s ručně šitými koženými řemínky v zelené a béžové barvě.

The individual models in the GRAPHIC SUTNAR collection are named after a group of toy animals designed by Ladislav Sutnar in 1930 for an exhibition at the Museum of Applied Arts in Prague. The enlightened public loved his avantgarde rendition of exotic animals on wheels but the designs failed to garner interest among toy manufacturers. The toys never made it into production and the exhibits remained in the collections of the museum. To applaud Sutnar’s brave and original designs we decided to present one of the watch models as a limited edition of twelve pieces. We chose the lion – the Czech national symbol.

The stainless steel case of this watch is bicoloured thanks to two finishing technologies – glass bead blasting and PVD. The watch comes with two hand-sewn leather straps – green and brown.

Die einzelnen Modelle der Serie GRAPHIC SUTNAR sind nach einer Reihe von Spielzeugentwürfen benannt, die Ladislav Sutnar für eine Ausstellung im Prager Kunstgewerbemuseum im Jahr 1930 entworfen hat. Sein avantgardistisches Konzept der exotischen Tiere auf Rädern fand beim gebildeten Publikum großen Anklang, doch die Entwürfe weckten nicht das Interesse der Spielzeughersteller. Die Tiere blieben nur in Form von Prototypen erhalten, die bei der Ausstellung präsentiert wurden. Um diese kühne und originelle Leistung von Sutnar zu würdigen, haben wir beschlossen, eines der nach den Spielzeugen benannten Modelle in einer limitierten Auflage von zwölf Stück anzubieten. Die Wahl fiel auf den Löwen – das tschechische Nationalsymbol. Das braune, geprägte Zifferblatt mit Sonnenschliff-Effekt wird durch einen orangefarbenen Sekundenzeiger ergänzt, an dessen Ende sich die Silhouette einer Mähne befindet, die von Sutnars Spielzeug inspiriert ist.

Das Edelstahlgehäuse dieser limitierten Auflage ist zweifarbig, dank einer Kombination aus gestrahlter Oberfläche und PVD-Behandlung ausgewählter Teile. Die Uhr wird mit handgenähten Lederuhrbändern in Grün und Beige geliefert.
